About exhibition

The exhibition Common Sense & Sensibility illustrates a turning point in the history of the modern Croatian product design, placing it in a much more mature, serious social and market context. The exhibition will present about 40 selected products from 14 Croatian brands. This is an export project that represents Croatian knowledge, development of culture production, sales and exports - and on this basis, for the first time in modern Croatia, culture- based design. Curator of the exhibition is Tatjana Bartaković, editor of the Internet magazine Design Agenda. Opening ceremony of the exhibition Common Sense & Sensibility will occur on 6 June 2012. in the evening of first day of the International Design Conference at Belgrade Design Week 2012. This is the most important design event in the region, which will visit all the important foreign media for the design and architecture. Honorable professionals from the international circuit design, architecture and advertising are expected to be there. Belgrade Design Week is also the co-producer of the exhibition. After Beograd what follows is Croatian premiere in galleria Forum, Zagreb from 27.06. – 07.07.2012. and from 14.04.
